The subject of death scares us beause we don't know much about it nor the life in the grave and the life after death. We all know we will one day die but few are willing to discuss the details of what happens thereafter.

Death can come at any time in any place, therefore the Firdaus Burial Society (FBS) was established to help  muslim families in their greatest hour of need.We can support families in organising the funeral from the death bed to the grave. If families have little support then we can conduct the whole proceedings as requested by the bereaved family.

FBS was formed in 2003 in Nottingham by a group of muslims aiming to serve the communuiy. Our aim is to provide simple funerals in line with the sunnah, burial with dignity, and to enable families to conduct their own funerals without delay.

We have conducted 23 funerals to date, including burials for the newly converted muslims who have little family ties. We are a non-profit making organisation, and rely of your generocity. If you are a member then we can also provide financial support.  We also train young people in condcuting the funeral requirements so that future genrations maintain this knowledge, and are more than happy to provide this service to any mosque.

When death occurs it is mandatory for the local community to conduct the funerals, therfore we are here to help you if and when required.
